Lakshmi Aasritha Pisupati is a highly skilled Silicon Design Engineer at Microsoft, currently pursuing her Masters in Computer Engineering at North Carolina State University. She has a strong background in CPU, GPU microarchitecture and RTL design, with a combined experience of ~3 years in the semiconductor industry. Her current focus is on computer architecture and digital design. Lakshmi is actively seeking full-time opportunities in RTL Design, CPU/GPU architecture starting in January 2021. She has a proven track record of designing and implementing data receive and send blocks to enable Firmware to ingress and egress data into the NoC being emulated on the FPGA. She has also developed control logic to generate interrupts when data is sent to particular memory locations. Her experience also includes implementing a CSR Shim using Synopsys DesignWare to enable the Firmware to access registers on the FPGA and vice-versa, and implementing a DDR shim to interface AXI slave from the NoC and Intel’s Avalon interface to leverage an existing DRAM on the FPGA. Lakshmi has worked as a Silicon Design Intern at Microsoft, where she designed and implemented data receive and send blocks to enable Firmware to ingress and egress data into the NoC being emulated on the FPGA. She has also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at North Carolina State University, where she taught Computer Systems Programming. Lakshmi holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and a B.Tech (Hons) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from IIIT Hyderabad. She completed her Intermediate education from Narayana Junior College, Tarnaka, and her 10th education from Space Central School, Shriharikota. With a relevant experience of 4.61 years, Lakshmi is equipped with the skills and knowledge required to excel in the field of Silicon Design Engineering. She is a proactive learner and a team player who is always eager to take on new challenges.
